The internationally operating DERAG Group, headquartered in Munich, consolidates a variety of business units under its brand. Founded in 1951 as a property developer and real estate company, the group has since expanded to include Project Development, Real Estate, Hotels & Apartments, Media, Food & Beverage and Site Development (Fairview Orchards). DERAG currently employs approximately 700 people worldwide.
Real Estate Development
Since its founding in 1951, DERAG Projektentwicklung has delivered more than 85,000 residential and commercial real estate units. The division manages the entire development process from the initial concept to turnkey completion, creating cross-generational value through entrepreneurial visions.
Real Estate Management
DERAG Immobilien manages DERAG Group's portfolio properties as an independent business unit in Germany and Austria. Being a digital pioneer, it implements state-of-the-art solutions in the areas of building connectivity, predictive maintenance and customer relationship management.
Hotels and Apartments
Living Hotels is the pioneer in the apartment hotel market in German-speaking countries. Established in 1982, the business further expanded with the launch of the SOULMADE brand in 2016. Today, the chain consists of 18 hotels across 9 locations.
Media
With the addition of the regional TV stations münchen.tv and tv.ingolstadt in 2024 and L-TV Landesfernsehen in 2025, the DERAG Group has expanded its portfolio to include the media sector. The stations produce high-quality reports, news and entertainment content, reaching a broad regional audience.
Gastronomy
In 2023, DERAG entered the gastronomy sector with the creation of St.Ribs restaurant chain. The concept focuses on creative interpretations of spare ribs. Current locations include Munich and Bonn, with more in the pipeline.
Site Development
With 5,700 acres in a prime strategic location near Washington, D.C., Fairview Orchards Landbesitz, Inc. offers ideal conditions for industry, logistics, and the established hunting, timber, and agricultural sectors—boasting vast acreage and direct access to Interstate 68.
